Happy Holidays...and all that.

Hello folks,

I wonder if anyone is even reading this. I haven't posted in forever. I just haven't felt inspired. I try to make excuses like "I'm too busy" or "I'm too tired" or "I need a break during the holiday season". But they're all crap. I just haven't been able to think of anything to blog about. I guess I could complain about the constant traffic when commuting, but we've all heard that before. Or I could comment on the recent Tsunami disaster, but my opinions on that would just make me seem like a heartless cold bastard. Politics are boring. Chirstmas is the same every year. It was fun. I went with my parents and my youngest brother to Eleanors house. Our former baby sitter. On Christmas Eve. We had dinner with her family. Her daughter just had a baby in September, his name is Evan. He has really soft hair. Very dark and there's a lot of it, but it's like silk. I've never really payed much attention to babies in the past. But this time I did. It was fun. I like babies.
I've been re-reading "A Dream of Eagles". It's a series by Jack Whyte. I should make those into links, but I don't really want to do all that, I'm getting too many pop ups lately. The series consists of seven books and it's a fairly cool take on the Arthurian Legend. Told by the man who made Excalibur and then Merlyn. I love this series. The first book is called "The Skystone". Pick it up if you have any interest in fantasy and history.
My New Years eve was pretty good. I went to my friend Jeff's house in Thorold. My buddy Mike and his pregnant wife Alana, and thus they're unborn baby Aiden, were there. Mike's little neice, I think she's like 2 or something, Andrea...pronounced Ahn-dray-ah, was there. My friend Greg came. Obviously Jeff was there, it's his house, and his girlfriend Christine who lives with him was there. Jeff's two sisters Sarah, and Beth were also present. And Christine's friend Lindsay was there with her boyfriend Trevor.
So it wasn't a huge party, but we had fun. We sat around and talked and drank, and listened to the radio, played some trivial pursuit. We went to Jeff's basement and played air hockey. Greg gave me an Incredible Hulk and an Indiana Jones board game that he got from a yard sale. They're two of the coolest gifts a friend has ever given me.
I got Quantum Leap season 2 on DVD for Christmas! That's a bonus! I love that show.
So what did y'all do for the holidays?
I'm going to spend some time catching up on some blogs.
I'll be posting more often now. I think I'm out of my non-blogging funk. Sometimes I just need a little break.

Ciao for now.

Chip out.
